Some of the information here is incorrect. Paul Cezanne was not an impressionist and in fact disagreed with their approach to art. Cezanne fell more into Post-Impressionism but even still did not follow the guidelines. Paintings such as these bathers and Cezanne's Mont Sainte-Victoire series went on to inspire artists just as Picasso, Braque and Henri Matisse in their explorations into Cubism and Fauvism respectively.
